Commercial Motors, a subsidiary of the Sefalana Group of companies and Motor Dealership T AT A, MAN, and HONDA, has an opportunity for the following post. The positions are tenable at Gaborone and Francistown.
Position: Workshop Manager

Responsibilities

Supervise repairs of MAN, TATA, and HONDA vehicle models
Supervise a team of Technicians, Foreman and Service Advisors
Render technical advice to Technicians and Assistants
Ensure adherence to quality control standards on vehicle maintenance
Maintain customer relations and key accounts
Manage work in progress, workflow and job planning on a daily basis
Manage After Sales queries
Reach monthly targets and maintain budgets
Do OEM reports and departmental reports

Desired Experience, Qualification, and Education

An ambitious and dynamic person with sound technical & diagnostic knowledge, with a proven track record, is sought. The applicant must be very serious about” first time right” standards and must have a vast experience as a qualified Auto / Diesel Mechanic / Electrical Technician
Should have a working knowledge of MANCATS / HDS or similar diagnostic tools
Customer-oriented and good communication skills
Should be able to assist with vehicle handovers and driver training
Minimum of 10 years work experience in a Management position
Experience and qualifications on brands such as TATA and, or MAN will be an added advantage
Must be experienced and have working knowledge in Microsoft Office products
Must have heavy duty drivers’ license
