Qualifications:
Certificate or diploma in rehabilitation aid/rehabilitation technician/massage therapy/physio assistant
Male or female
Age: 21-30 years
2 years experience in the clinical field
Should be able to work with less supervision
Skills required:
Patient/family education
Assist patients with exercises
Monitor the patient’s progress
Assist with housekeeping
Assist with administrative duties: patient billing, invoice capturing, submission of invoices to medical aids, updating patient files and records, following up with patients for scheduling, calling patients to remind them of their appointment times
Supervise support staff
Assist with the application of electrotherapy, and manual therapy as per physio’s instructions
