Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Sales Administrator to provide administrative support to our Wholesale Hardware Sales team. The Sales Administrator will be responsible for managing the sales order process, preparing sales reports, raising invoices, following up on payments, managing customer complaints and providing exceptional customer service to our customers. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills and possess excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process sales orders received from customers accurately and efficiently
  • Raise invoices and follow up on payments
  • Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and customer interactions in the CRM system
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to existing and potential customers
  • Manage customer inquiries and complaints, and resolve any issues in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are being met
  • Assist the sales team in preparing proposals and presentations for customers
  • Participate in industry events and trade shows to promote our products and services
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively communicate with customers


  • Proven experience in sales administration, preferably in the hardware industry
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Knowledge of construction materials and industry trends

Education and Experience:

  • Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales administration experience, preferably in the hardware industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
