SAFARI GUIDE

REPORTS TO:

Head Guide/ Camp General Manager PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Safari Guide acts as an interpreter of nature to the guests. They conduct guided and memorable and fun safari experiences for the guests and give foundational knowledge on wildlife, ecosystems, and conservation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Current Botswana Wildlife Training Institute (BWTI) Professional Guiding Licence.
A minimum of 5 years of guiding experience, with at least 3 years of the 5 years spent in guiding at a Luxury Safari Lodge.
A Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) is required.
Current First Aid Level 3 certificate an added advantage.
Rifle handling certificate an added advantage.
Proven record of leadership position an added advantage.
