Production Engineering Planner

The ideal candidate should have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. The job entails evaluating and auditing of Production of PVC, UPVC, MPVC, and other SANS Approved PVC Pipes up to 500 mm Diameter; for purposes of developing solutions to improve PVC manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate MUST have a minimum of 12 years of work experience in PVC, C-PVC, UPVC, and MPVC Pipes Manufacturing Industry, and MUST have in­depth knowledge and experience with extrusion Rollepaal, Theysohn and Kabra Extrusion machines and downstream equipment. The candidate should be able to handle independently troubleshooting on AC/DC Drives, PLC, and Display Screens. Knowledge of PLC Programming is a must. The candidate must have experience in synchronizing the downstream equipment with Extruders and other ancillary machines. The applicant should be willing to work in shifts and should be available on call.
