LOGISTICS COORDINATOR Full-time Job

Lucara Botswana (Pty) Ltd owns the Karowe Diamond Mine in Letlhakane which currently operates an Open Pit Mine and now transitioning into the Underground operation. The envisaged underground operation is currently undergoing construction in which two vertical shafts (Production and Vertical) are being sunk and will be followed by lateral development and subsequent ore extraction.

Logistics Coordinator-Tenable in Letlhakane (36 Months Fixed Term Contract)

Job Summary

Reporting to the Infrastructure & Materials Manager, the Logistics Coordinator coordinates the expediting, receiving, issuing, storage, and reporting of all supplied equipment for the Underground project in accordance with supply chain policy, procedures, and health & safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain Management or related field.
Minimum five (5) years post-qualification experience in logistics/supply chain management, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory position.
Knowledge and experience in cross boarder operations, clearance, transport, warehousing, and distribution support, etc.
Previous experience in monitoring shipments, deliveries, inventory control, timelines, and costs.
Proficiency in the ERP Systems including SAP.
