LAUNDRY ASSISTANT: (1)
To undertake washing, ironing, and issuing of all hospital linen in line with infection control standards.

ROLE SUMMARY

To be helpful, professional and courteous at all times.
To follow laundry standards procedure when receiving linen and issuing linen to the wards.
Record all linen delivered and collected on the linen book as per laundry standards.
Continuous monitoring of infection control procedures and maintaining health and safety issues at all times
To be able to operate laundry machines.
To deliver quality services to clients at all times by following proper linen management procedures filed in the Cohsasa

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Must have at least BCCSE Certificate
Should have knowledge of how to operate laundry machines
Previous experience working in a hospital or medical environment
Capacity to cooperate with others to work towards a common goal.
The capacity to perform a technical function to required standards.
