DESCRIPTION
To take charge in selling EC products and services – to take the lead and manage sales activations and all other sales and leads generating activities. To take charge of promoting and selling our product portfolio, analyze and profile one’s chosen area, profile customers and see how best we can serve that market. Will also be tasked with managing the loan application as per Policies and Procedures set out by the company. Ensure proper completion of all loan documents and verify correct attachments needed as per Underwriting Rules. General customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES
– Promote and sell EC products and services to clients – need to continually update knowledge on the latest products and all related services.

– Identify and reach out to prospective clients through a variety of channels

– Collaborate with the branch teams to ensure they reach their branch targets, significantly contribute to sakes strategies and tactics of their area

– Maintain chosen area’s customer database and ensure we continually offer a personalized service to clients and build a lasting relationship based on trust, honesty, and integrity.

– Help potential clients to discover the best solution to fulfil their needs – educate client on all potential products.

– Evaluate and assess the credit risk of individual clients, appraise client’s repayment capability before disbursing loans.

– Create customer accounts in the system / upload all required loan documentation / file accordingly.

– Process client refunds.

– Handle client queries and complaints and escalate to Branch Manager when needed.

– Manage good relationship with Direct Sales Agents (DSAs) who bring in new clients.

– Meet sales target by maintaining a wide client base.

– Maintain confidentiality regarding all information being processed, stored, or accessed.

– Meet or exceed sales targets.

– Sustained growth and quality of loan portfolio.

– Compliance to policies procedures.

– Customers Satisfaction and Sales execution.

– Number of loan applications processed and disbursed.

– Loan turnaround time.

– Number of errors in loan documentation.

– Number of Internal and External Audit exceptions.

– Number of audit exceptions rectified.

– Ensure a high level of data integrity on the system.

 

REQUIREMENTS
– Previous experience in the field – added advantage.

– Certificate and/ or higher qualifications in related field (finance / banking / management).

– Analytical with an attention to detail and accuracy.

– Good organizational and multi-tasking skills.

– Honesty and Integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.

– Approachable and team player.

– Computer skills including Microsoft Office.

– Excellent time management and organizational skills.

– Interpersonal skills with a focus on excellent customer service.

– Proactiveness with problem solving skills.

– Established marketing skills necessary for business origination and portfolio monitoring.

– Driver’s licence

– Computer literate (Microsoft Word and Excel)
