Zambia National Building Society seeks to recruit qualified, skilled, motivated and energetic individuals to fill the positions of Manager Operational Risk and Fraud under Risk Directorate and Manager Compliance under Legal Directorate to be based at Head Office.

Manager Operational Risk and Fraud ZNBS 4; Head Office, Lusaka

Job Purpose

The job holder will assist the Director Risk in developing and implementing integrated Operational, ERM and Fraud risk management strategy; framework and control system to ensure the Society operates within an agreed risk appetite and complies with its internal policy and external regulatory obligations.

Further, the job holder will work closely with Control Champions in the different Business in the Society to ensure that methodologies, policies, procedures and limit frameworks are established. The Manager Operational Risk and Fraud will build, produce and regularly update the risk report suite to ensure consistency and compliance with the bank’s risk tolerance.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Full Grade 12 School Certificate.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Accounting
    or equivalent Business qualification.
  • Professional Certification in Credit or Risk Management or a related discipline is preferred.
  • 5 years’ experience in Risk/Credit or Audit function.
  • 2 years in a managerial role is essential.
