Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  1. Participate in the formulation and amendment of University examination rules and regulations, related policies and procedures
  2. Provide assistance in the preparation of the University Examination schedules
  3. Keep up-to-date with all examination requirements, schedules and ensure that staff and students are aware of the relevant changes, communicating these as necessary.
  4. Assist in the preparation for and organization of all exams in accordance with the University rules and regulations
  5. Ensure proper receipt and storage of all examination papers as submitted by examiners and be responsible for all examination stationery.
  6. Ensure that examination papers are distributed to the examiners as required by the regulations
  7. Provide assistance in the supervision and management of exam invigilators.
  8. Make appropriate provision for students with special requirements and ensuring arrangements for candidates with special needs are met.
  9. Ensure that the examination rooms are ready for exams, i.e. the distribution of examination materials, collating candidate cards and stop clocks
  10. Assist in the processing of examination results for all university exams.
  11. Perform any other duties commensurate with the position as may be assigned from time

Qualifications and Experience

a) Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Education.

b) At least 3 (three) years working experience in the education sector preferably in examination related matters.

c) Exceptional skills in Microsoft excel and use of data bases
