The Company Seeks to invite suitably qualified and experienced candidatestoapply for the following position:
HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER
Job Summary:
Adheres to quality assurance and governance protocol/principles in area of Human Resources.
Key Activities:
Recommends and incorporate cost saving initiatives into budget and operates withinapproved parameters.
Provides a recruitment service to ensure that the Mine departments are optimallyresourced.
Coordinates the total job evaluation process by guiding and advising line managers inthedevelopment of job descriptions and grading of jobs.
Implements the pay and benefits process in line with company pay and befits philosophyand in compliance with salary and payroll directives and ensures accuracy and timeliness.
Facilitates implementation of the performance management systemin line withsetstandards.
Maintains the HR information system by inputting and extracting informationfromvarious systems and maintains employee records and other documentation.
Analyses human resources information to determine trends and produces reports.
Advises line managers, employee representatives and employees on the interpretationand application of company policies and procedures, collective agreements andlabourlaws.
Provides an employee relation service by facilitating the hearing of disciplinaryandgrievance matters and handling them within prescribed guidelines and monitoringanybreaches on procedural and substantive fairness and advising on corrective action.
Facilitates the identification of training and developmental needs in order todeveloptraining and development plans.
Conducts training and development interventions to ensure competent andskilledworkforce.
Adheres to all safety, health and environmental policies and procedures in areaof
responsibility.
Identifies and implements creative and innovative ideas in order to improve theMini
Business Unit performance.
Maintains effective relationships clients/partners/customers to ensure achievement of
Mini Business Unit objectives.
Takes responsibility for providing excellent services by developing self, applying skills, knowledge and experiences to improve and measure their own performance against setstandards.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
Degree in Social Sciences.
3 years post graduate experience in Human Resource environment.
Employee Relations Experience would be an added advantage.
