GENERAL CAMP MANAGER

Natural Selection Safaris (Pty) Ltd: A large Botswana-based company that operates multiple lodges in Botswana is looking to recruit a General Camp Manager to be based in Maun to oversee the running of lodges in and around Maun.
Responsibilities include:
Full responsibility for our lodge operations, including liaising with property owners, overseeing budgets and spending, staff management and daily operations. The candidate will need to manage our game farms and lodges and liaise with all government departments in this regard.

Requirements include:

A thorough knowledge of the working of the safari industry, be able to lead a team of employees, and have a good understanding of budgets & finances needed to run a lodge business.
Should have at least 10 years of experience at a managerial level of a safari company with good knowledge of all departments within the lodge operations.
Experience within Botswana and other African countries in a similar industry would be advantageous.
Excellent administration skills, staff management and skills development and financial understanding.
Advanced computer skills are essential (Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
Proficiency in and an ability to communicate fluently in English.
Minimum of 3 contactable references.
Candidate must hold a valid driver’s license (class B)
