Financial Accountant

Main Purpose

To lead, manage and provide strategic direction in the overall management of Emergency Assist 99 Ts finance division, including effective data management.

Key Performance Area

Ability to analyze and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and projections.
Develop and monitor the annual company budget.
Monitor and interpret cash flows and predict future trends (incl. Budgeting)
Execute Finance Strategic initiatives by ensuring there is adequate oversight over the financial reporting process.
Responsible for the development and up-to-date maintenance of all finance function policy and procedure manuals, to ensure the achievement of process efficiency and risk management objectives.
Ensure an effective internal control environment to ensure effective risk management (operational, financial, and reputational)
Liaising with auditors to ensure annual audits are carried out.
Responsible for building strong relationships with stakeholders, including internal stakeholders such as senior management, and external stakeholders such as investors, auditors, and regulators.

Requirements, Qualifications,s and Experience

Professional accounting qualification in AAT/Degree,
Full qualification (BICA, ACCA, CIMA)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Member of a recognized institution such as BICA
