A VACANCY EXISTS FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION:
FINANCE MANAGER

Stefanutti Stocks Botswana is looking for a Financial Manager responsible for assisting in the preparation of Financial Information and maintaining proper accounting records of assets, liabilities, Statements of Comprehensive Income, and Tax liabilities. The primary responsibility will include the preparation of all accounting records up to and including the Management Reporting level.

Requirements:

B.Com Accounting/ CIMA (Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) membership would be favourable)
Minimum 3 years experience on managerial level, knowledge of IFRS
Incumbent must have experience in managing a team with good interpersonal skills and must be knowledgeable with Botswana Tax and Vat legislation.
Must possess experience in dealing with external stakeholders.
Must be willing to travel around Botswana to conduct site audits.

Primary Duties:

Management of finance team to ensure accurate and timeous financial reporting.
Preparation of Management Accounting Information and presentation to the directors
Statutory Compliance and Reporting
Liaising with internal and external auditors and managing the process
General Financial Management and Cash Flow Management
Implementation of Internal Controls
Tax compliance (CIT, OWHT, VAT, and PAYE)
Development of finance team
Compilation of annual budgets in collaboration with operational teams
Monthly reporting submissions to the Group finance team
Review of trial balances, balance sheet recons, creditor recons and any other reports produced by the finance team.
Assistance with tender submissions
Liaising with insurance providers to ensure coverage is in place and that best rates are obtained
Ad hoc tasks requested by the Group finance team, Operational directors and other shareholders
