CORPORATE AFFAIRS MANAGER

Job Summary:

Implements the internal and external communication strategies and Public Relations qualityassurance programme in accordance with set governance protocols and principles.

Key Activities:

Analyses the divisional area’s financial needs to develop a budget and ensures sufficientfinancial resources to meet business needs.
Develops, manages and controls allocated funds and operates within approvedparameters.
Implements Brand Management process to guide internal stakeholders in theuseof
company brand.
Creates and maintains excellent company image through living and promoting theMCMvalues.
Reviews and monitors the effectiveness of Public Relations and internal communicationplatforms and makes recommendations to management.
Manages and coordinates internal and external stakeholder events in line with PublicandCorporate Affairs frameworks.
Develops and manages content and placement for all advertising and promotional
materials in line with corporate communication plan and brand standards.
Identifies and manages the implementation of and adherence to legal and corporategovernance principles/requirements.
Manages and coordinates the implementation of safety, health and environmental
programme in area of responsibility.
Identifies and implements creative and innovative ideas to continuously improveandsustain business performance.

Manages the implementation of the talent management initiatives in area of responsibilityby ensuring the right competence and effectiveness of manpower (capacity building)through developing and implementing career, succession, training, and developmentplans.
Establishes and maintains effective relationships with all key stakeholders and partnerstoensure achievement of business objectives.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

Degree in Public Relations/Communications or related field
8 years’ experience in Communications or Public Relations with 3 years at supervisorylevel.
