CLEANER: (1)
To undertake daily cleaning of the hospital in line with infection control standards.

ROLE SUMMARY

Maintain facility in a sanitary and infection-free condition
Remove all garbage and waste in a timely fashion
Keep the hospital neat for all staff and visitors
Maintain confidentiality regarding the identity and condition of a patient
Operate various mechanized cleaning equipment such as vacuum polisher, buffer, etc.
Clean and decontaminate the hospital environment, e.g. floors, walls, windows toilets, dust, and polish furniture.
Requires working in damp, dusty, and dirty areas. Must clean human waste and other body fluids.
Undertake any related duties as required to meet the exigencies of the service.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Must have at least BCCSE Certificate
Minimum of 2 years experience as a cleaner
Previous experience working in a hospital or medical environment
Ability to follow hospital procedures carefully
